About Nazneen

I am a British American actor, producer and entertainment journalist. I play Irene Adler in the radio play Sherlock Holmes In a Scandal in Bohemia. I also play the character Kaz Osmani in the narrative podcast 'Frijoles y Arroz', a dramatic comedy, bringing attention to women’s rights following the Me Too movement.  I enjoy working in the film and television industry in New Mexico, as well as taking part in theater, and played Miss Watts in the Adobe Theater's production of the play 'The Women'. 

 

Currently executive producer for season 4 of OffSet Webseries offsetwebseries.com, a local mockumentary style comedy show on Youtube. I am also advisory board member of the New Mexico Film Foundation nmfilmfoundation.org.

I host the radio show Cinema Scope on KSFR 101.1FM  Santa Fe Public Radio, streaming on Friday's at KSFR.org at 3.30pm PST/4.30PMMST/6.30PM EST.  I also write for New Mexico Film News, focusing on the local independent movie scene.

Originally from London where I studied Law at the University of Westminster, graduating with honors, following which I practiced human rights law and worked at a humanitarian assistance agency.  Fluent in Urdu and Hindi, I provide Urdu translation services. Member of The International Honors Society.
